I can't believe that it took me so long to start this series! My apologies Glynis, I didn't know what I was missing. :)
Let me begin by saying that Sydney and I are more a like that I care to admit. From the trust issues with men, to horrible dating stories and major panic attacks! I am right there with ya Sydney!
She has the life that many of us could dream about. The ability to move across county, found an amazing job and...Ok so she doesn't have everything...her love life is in shambles.
From one bad break up to the next she can't catch a break...will she ever trust again?
Then one night Sydney goes out for a night on the town and she meets a gorgeous Frenchman. Louis couldn't be more perfect if he tries...he's got the look, the style, and that drop dead gorgeous voice...And he wants Sydney! There is an instant connection from the very beginning. Sydney keeps waiting for the other shoe to drop. There has to be a problem with Louis and Sydney is sure that it will show its ugly head sooner rather than later.
Their relationship proceeds at the speed of light...talks of moving in and the m word are dropped...What is Sydney to do? Does she let down her guards and go with it? Does she push away this seemingly perfect man because there HAS to be a flaw? This fun, romantic has so many twists and turns and ups and downs, I have no choice but to give it 5 wine glasses! I loved it from beginning to end! I can't wait to read book 2 and book 3 soon!
