Review - A Mother's Day by Kaira Rouda

BLURB
AN ORIGINAL SHORT STORY
FROM THE CELEBRATED AUTHOR OF
THE BESTSELLING NOVEL HERE, HOME, HOPE ....

Three mothers. Three sons. One day that changes them all forever.

MY REVIEW
What a gripping and amazing testimony to motherhood and the courage it takes to be who we are.  One day a tragic event strikes and it will forever connect three mothers in a way that they never thought possible.
They will probably never meet but their bond can't be broken.
One mother is driving with her son, having a day off from school to just spend time together...
Another mother is trying to get her life back on track after having a baby and struggling with postpartum...
The last mother has a son with Asperger's and she is so happy that his life is starting to normalize and he's doing great in high school and headed to college...then she gets a phone call and tragedy strikes...
How will these mothers cope?  How will they know what to say to their children to make them understand?
Such a powerful story that I advise every woman to read...it's an amazing depiction of what motherhood truly is...

DRINK SELECTION
For my drink selection, I chose a cup of tea for a mother who would like to relax and unwind after a tough day.
RATING
I rate this amazing testimony to motherhood five wine glasses and I hope that each and every book enthusiast I know will take the time and read this story.
