My Thoughts
I love the new turn that Hilary took this time around and shifted her focus on us moms and that craziness that sometimes follows us around.
We may not have experienced the exact same situations, but we have all seen, known, been or are PTA moms and that world is cut throat. People think that it's all rosy and play dates with cupcakes and unicorns but those women are CRAZY!
I personally joined once for a very short time and realized that I needed to save the little sanity I have left (mom of three) and not waste it at those meetings.
Now, I must digress one more moment and say that Sydney's sister is named Bethany (named after me and I couldn't be more excited!)
Sydney is a mom that is trying to do it all - work more than fulltime, have a great relationship with her husband, and make sure her daughter has everything to make her happy! Check, check and check.
Then one day she gets a call from Jackie, the PTA Queen, and she blackmails her into joining the PTA, her daughters happiness depends on it. SEE, CRAZY!
There are so many twists and turns, ups and downs, and that's just the first few chapters!
