Casey Ellis is the last
person who should be planning her office’s holiday party. Convinced
she’s plagued with chronic Christmas bad luck, Casey isn’t interested in
tempting fate. But when putting on a party planner hat seems like a
good way to get closer to her longtime crush, Casey takes charge—and
braces for impact.
When things start to fall apart—just like
Casey knew they would—will she run and hide, or will she learn that bad
luck can sometimes turn out to be Christmas magic in disguise?
My Thoughts
I wasn't feeling the greatest last night and I just needed a fun pick me up and this novella hit the spot perfectly!
Casey gets sucked into planning the dreaded Christmas Party at work after the previous woman retired (was this person the reason for her demise?) Ok, let's be honest she was tricked into doing it by her best friend who stated that it MAY bring her closer to her office crush.
Now mind you in Casey's mind, she has NO luck at all, why would she feel she could take on a crazy ALL DAY work party?
There is some scandal, Christmas cheer, and enough bad luck to go around twice! Will she survive this party and keep her job? Will she snag the guy of her dreams?
Drink Selection
We are going to go with Nine Ladies Dancing punch - cinnamon, sugar, vanilla bean and more! YUM!
